What Bright Enchil’s first goal for Medeama meant to him

Medeama defender Bright Enchil scored his first ever Premier League goal for Medeama as “amazing” as he scored the second in the side’s 2-0 win over Bechem United on Sunday.

The talented right-back clipped in a fabolous strike into the bottom left corner to hand the Mauve and Yellows a deserved win over the Hunters at the Akoon Park.

This is Enchil’s first goal for the club since joining three seasons ago.

And the former Red Bull Academy product has been left delighted with getting his name on the scoresheet.

“Its feel good and amazing to score my first goal for the club. For me its another dream come true. We worked hard for this victory and we look forward to more wins,” he told Medeamasc.com

“I feel happy to have scored at the Akoon Park.

“It’s one game at a time and we hope to make it count as we journey on in the league.

There was plenty of confidence behind the technique used by Enchil to open his goal scoring account at the club in three years.

He latched onto an exquisite pass from Rashid Nortey and wasted no time in taken on the United defenders to power home into the bottom right corner.

Enchil has impressed since he returned into the starting XI after his earlier struggles against Great Olympics.

“I feel good about this goal. We played our fans but we got the drive, confidence and commitment to win this vital game.”

The two-time FA Cup holders travel to Elmina Sharks on Sunday.
