Medeama suffer heavy defeat at Inter Allies

Nafiu Sulemana scored a superb brace to help struggling Inter Allies thrash Medeama 3-0 on Sunday.

A sensational second-half display from the home side ensured they cruised to their biggest win against the Mauve and Yellows.

Substitute Andy Okpe opened the scoring with a tap-in to restore confidence in the Allies set-up.

It’s a game Medeama defender Ibrahim Yaro will like to quickly forget after he was badly exposed by Nafiu Sulemana.

Sulemana cut in from the left to deliver a sweet finish and completed his man of the match performance with a similar belter at the Theatre of Dreams.

The massive and embarrassing defeat has affected Medeama’s title surge as they will now have to rely on luck to have any chance of fighting for their first Premier League crown.

Medeama coach Yaw Preko decision to substitute Richard Boadu appeared to have given the home side the energy as they hunt for the opener.

His exit exposed the midfield as they struggled to contain Andy Okpe and Nafiu Sulemana.

Sulemana was the tormentor in chief with superb performance, grabbing a super brace to help the relegation battle of the Eleven Is To One.
