Double delight as Tahiru and Osei are named in Ghana’s final 18-man squad for All Africa Games

Medeama Striker Tahiru Awudu and defender Philip Osei have been named in Ghana’s 18-man squad for the 2019 Africa Games to be staged in Morocco.

Coach Yaw Preko has named the budding talents in his final squad for the trip to the North African country.

Tahiru has impressed heavily  at training at the team’s preparatory matches.

The youngster is expected to be the arrowman for Ghanaian side as they aim to clinch the title in the North African country.

Defender Philip Osei, who is earning rave reviews in Tarkwa, has been a mainstay of the side since he broke into the team.

The hugely talented left-back will be keen to seize the opportunity.

A contingent comprising of players, technical and management members will leave the shores of Ghana on August 13 for the tourney.
Ghana have been drawn alongside Burundi, Mali and Senegal in Group B.
