Amos Korankye tips Medeama to excel this season

Defender Amos Korankye is tipping Medeama to go all the way in the upcoming season.

The experienced right-back is expected to be key for the Mauve and Yellows ahead of the new campaign.

Medeama finished 7th last season after an uncharacteristic  purple patchy performance.

However, former Hasaacas versatile defender Amos Korankye is confident his side will thrive under new coach Samuel Boadu.

“We are growing in confidence and hopeful that we will do well this season,” he told medeamasc.com

“There is work to be done but training has been good so far and we hope to keep the intensity.

“The coach has the full backing of everybody at the club and that’s good for us.

“We are bonding as a team and I am extremely confident about our chances.”

Medeama will take on Berekum Chelsea in their opening match of the 2018 Ghana FA gala competition  set to take place this weekend at the Nduom Sports stadium.
