Medeama will play Hearts will play Medeama in the 2013 SWAG Cup game on July 21.

The game which is organised yearly by the Sports Writers Association of Ghana (SWAG) is expected to attract a high delegation which includes the Minister of Youth and Sports Elvis Afriyie Ankrah.

Medeama have become Accra Hearts of Oak’s nemesis this season by eliminating them from the MTN FA Cup whilst in the league they beat the Phobians in Accra and drew with them at Tarkwa and the game is already generating tension among fans.

Last season the game was played between Kumasi Asante Kotoko and Berekum Chelsea in a two-leg affair in which the Blues emerged victorious, but this year’s game will be played just once.
