Medeama defender Ali Ouattara played his first competitive match for the club in 10 months in the side’s 1-0 win over Techiman Eleven Wonders in the Ghana FA Special Competition on Sunday.
The towering centre-back climbed off the bench, replacing Daniel Egyin late in the second half as the side picked maximum points at home.
Ouattara was playing his first competitive match for the side after being knocked down by an injury.
The Ghana Under-23 defender has not been involved since the start of the Special Competition after making the substitute bench in the 1-0 defeat at Ashantigold last week.
The return of the defender is a massive boost to the side as they chase qualification from Zone A.
