Head coach Bashir Hayford has lauded the team’s cohesion and claims he has built a title winning side.

The former national Under-17 coach saw his Mauve and Yellows dominate possession but slip to a sorry 1-0 defeat to Berekum Chelsea in the final of the GHALCA pre-season tournament.

He has spoken of his desire to build a fortified squad after the acquisition of Sampson Cudjoe, Theophilus Anobah, Sumaila Atia

Others are Francis Coffie, Godfred Rockson, Ekow Benson, Tanko Mohammed and goalkeeper Ahorlu Mohammed.

“We didn’t win the trophy but I’m satisfied with the way we played and this is only the beginning,” he told www.medeamasc.com

“When I have Sampson Cudjoe and Anobah join in training, we will be unbeaten.

“Two of my boys won the All Africa Games gold medal and their presence will boost our campaign.”

Medeama begin their league campaign at home against All Stars on 9 October.
